Self-defense, Handgun Threats, & Weapon Retention

This seminar will focus on basic self-defense as a concealed carrier weapon holder, defending common handgun threats in close and weapon retention. It will take place on Saturday, September 18th from 10:00 - 13:00.

Topics included:

Basic empty handed self-defense
Maintaining range w/transition to higher force
Defending basic handgun threats
Handgun retention

Training begins with a focus on basic stances, footwork, and strikes, then transitions the student from unarmed “hand to hand” self-defense utilizing Krav Maga techniques to higher level, armed responses with a handgun. This is a great course for firearms enthusiasts including CCW holders to learn to the basics of fighting to access their sidearm or for martial arts students interested in learning how to effectively incorporate a sidearm into their self-defense strategy .

ATTIRE: Gym clothes/shoes

The seminar fess are $149 for nonmembersfree and $99 for members.

GEAR: Glock 17 training guns are available or you can bring your own training gun. Concealed holster is optional. Live weapons are not allowed in the studio and must be secured in your vehicle if you bring it.
